Art & Exhibitions 3
  • Graphicker INT — an immersive concert for deaf and hearing audiences in the same room. HKAPA · 2021

Producer · Creative Lead · Production Manager

Making music something you feel in the body, so no one in the room is left outside it. Led the overall design and a 70-person team. Technology and spatial design turned sound into something a deaf guest could feel alongside a hearing one — one room, one shared feeling.

  • Technology is Nothing — an exhibition where a guest’s brainwaves became live visuals. Exhibition · 2022

    Curator · Artist

Making an invisible inner state into something others can see and share — one-to-one, live. Two parts: a guided journey of pandemic-era digital drawings, and an EEG piece that read a guest’s emotional state and rendered it as generative visuals in real time. The machine disappears so the human can appear.

  • Will You Stay More Than One Minute — a virtual exhibition built during the pandemic. Virtual · 2022

    Curator · Artist

About the cost of distance and the worth of presence — a study in staying, when staying is hard. Pandemic-era digital drawing shown in a virtual space; the title itself is the piece’s quiet plea.

Teaching & Writing 2
  • Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts Teaching

Teaching at HKAPA since 2020 — lecturer in show control, entertainment networking and AV systems; artist-in-residence R&D on pre-visualisation in game engines.

  • The Neural Stage Designing Joy Through Entertainment Technology

A working thesis, in progress: why a feeling lands, and how to build it so it lands the same way every night, for everyone in the room.

Emotional Reliability Engineering

A cue is only art if it fires the same way every night.

Reliability is not the opposite of emotion — it is what lets emotion repeat.

水 — water finds the way through any terrain; a system should too.

Design the key, not the cage — the audience should feel free inside a structure they never see.

Under every title there is only one real job: to make a moment where strangers feel, for a minute, that they belong together.

The moment stays with the people who felt it. Come say hello.

How I Think — Emotional Reliability Engineering

The design test — if an ordinary person can’t feel it, it failed.

Craft, systems, and philosophy meet at the same point: whether the audience feels what was designed for them to feel, reliably, every performance. Eastern and Western frameworks are two vocabularies for the same discipline — 水 finds the way through any terrain; a well-built system does too.
